This book presents 11 paintings on paper and an in situ installation by renowned Belgian painter Koen van den Broek that were shown at Galerie Regent-Reychler, in Saignon, France. The paintings are inspired by the colourful and geometric architecture of the Saint-Pierre church designed by Le Corbusier, in the French town of Firminy. The works depict the special way light and colour are brought in and captured in the building, and, as in many cases in van den Broeks work they all balance between abstraction and architectural figuration. A text in French and English by Luk Lambrecht accompanies the works in the publication.
