The work of visual artist Edith Dekyndt consists of projections, paintings, drawings, objects and installations. Her work often evokes a kind of ‘dematerialization’. Through the observation of existing processes or the subjection of something to a basic transformation, Dekyndt tries to involve mundane objects into epistemological debates. With patterns and materials deriving from physics and optics she creates work that should be interpreted in another metaphysical order.
