These three artists, each from a different generation spanning the last one hundred years, approached geometric abstraction not as formalism, but as a means of visualizing philosophical, scientific, and transcendental ideas. '3 x Abstraction' introduced the work of af Klint and Kunz—which has been eclipsed for so long—and revisited Martin's work from a new perspective.
