Between 2001 and 2004 the literary magazine Dietsche Warande & Belfort, under the patronage of Cera, made 23 booklets in which the cross-over between art and literature creates a unique form. In most of the cases they experimented with a factory-formula: writers and artists worked together to make something that wasn’t there before, and couldn’t have been made without the command of DW&B. In the book XXIII curator Luk Lambrecht, graphic designer Luc Derycke and compilers Hugo Bousset and Paul Tanghe helped to create and take the experiments even further.
