This collection of photographic portraits is of the painter, Frida Kahlo taken by master photographers - among them Ansel Adams, Nickolas Murray and Imogen Cunningham. The photographs were taken from her childhood until her death in 1954. The book includes two biographical essays, extended captions and a chronology of her life. Most of the photographs are previously unpublished.
